SCOOP Releases New Update, Localized for Indonesia

We’ve just received news that SCOOP has released a new update. SCOOP is a mobile app created by Indonesian startup Apps Foundry [1] which started as an iPad app to download and read magazines. Up until now it has seen several updates, from releasing its Samsung eReader version, to releasing its Android version. With this latest update, SCOOP now is fully localized for Indonesia and has a handful of additional features such as auto-suggestion to improve search, optimization for faster reading experience and minor bug fixes. SCOOP is also now compatible with iOS 6.

SCOOP also announced that it has also grown its number of partner publishers to more than 4,000 editions of magazines, books, and newspapers from India and Vietnam, in addition to its current partner publishers from Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This is quite remarkable growth, considering that when it started, SCOOP only has 200 magazine editions.
